Our Story

The founder of the homes worked within the NHS for in excess of 25 years in hospitals as a registered nurse, and in the community as a health visitor. She acquired significant experience in caring for people with a wide range of mental health problems and has managed residential care homes. These experiences have led her to believe that individuals in need of care should be accommodated in as homely an environment as possible. To this end our belief is that this is best achieved in small homes rather than large institutions. We are therefore more able to deliver individual personal and mental health care to meet the needs of each resident.
Why are we called Elizabeth Peters? We wanted a constant reminder that the home is intended to be a warm, caring, environment. Whilst considering the type of home she wanted to run she remembered the warmth of her home environment where she grew up with her parents Elizabeth and Peter.
Based in South East London, in pleasant surroundings, we offer personal and mental health care with the human touch. Our intimate and friendly staff and surroundings mean we are capable of meeting your individual needs.
